Spaghetti & meatballs just got a lot tastier! Our version is not only healthy, but it tastes great. You'll love the added hint of Popcorn Powder's Rosemary Parmesan topping in the meatballs, along with the fresh basil and mozzarella!
Spaghetti & Rosemary Parmesan Meatballs Ingredients:
For Meatballs:
- 1lb favorite ground meat
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons plain yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons Popcorn Powder's Rosemary Parmesan topping
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
For Pasta Sauce:
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (sliced)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 chopped basil
For Spaghetti:
- 1lb spaghetti
- 1/2 cup fresh chopped mozzarella
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped basil
- Fresh ground pepper
Spaghetti & Rosemary Parmesan Meatballs Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 & line a baking dish with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, mix the meat, egg, yoghurt, Rosemary Parmesan topping, salt & pepper
- Form small balls and place on baking sheet
- Bake for 15-20 minutes checking frequently
- In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil on low
- Add in the the sliced cherry tomatoes & basil and mix
- Allow to simmer
- Cook pasta according to directions
- When pasta is done, drain and place in a large bowl
- Toss with sauce and if needed add more olive oil
- Add meatballs, chopped mozzarella, chopped basil and pepper
